Patiently waiting for some chain...

I'm thrilled that I have ordered new chain [because I would honestly hate to have to make each chain by myself]! Still, all this anticipation kind of drives me crazy. The panda Shroominals are already on reserve. I don't think I should make more Shroominals because they don't seem like they would be that popular, but who knows?
So these are sold out... which is a good thing! I'm still not sure which Shroominal to invest my money on first... I want to put a few up, but I'm not sure. Vote? :]

Finally!

The Shroominals are done for sure, but I need to wait for some chain to come in the mail so that I can have a necklace for every pendant! :] I'm pretty pleased with the way things came out. So, I'm not quite sure what inspired me to make the Shroominals. There is a definite love for mushrooms, most certainly, and I suppose there is a love for cute animals. I even gave them all names. For additional pictures, click here, but for now, I shall post a few!
These are my puppy-kun or wan-chan [not sure what name to use yet] earrings. I'm not sure who would buy these or why, but be sure to get on that Facebook Fan Page and vote for your favorite! :]
Here are my gorgeously delicious mooncake stud earrings that I have finally perfected! I used this tiny chair that my friend Areli gave me today as a stand and a backdrop. I think they go well together! It's almost mooncake season, so I had to be sure to make these. Hopefully they do well!
Apollo candies is having a major anniversary this year, so in their honor, I put together a few of these Apollo ichigo chocolate earrings with a cute ribbon, hand-tied of course! I'm not sure how popular these are with Americans, but they're quite delicious if you get the chance to try them!
I did matching necklaces for the Shroominals, too, as seen here with panda-kun!
And I really don't glaze often, but I think that for certain items, the polyurethane glossy finish really looks good and strengthens. Here's one of my new cake rings with the yummy flute wafer stick cookies. Mmm. I want some right now! :9
And finally, my last creation of the day -- totally spur-of-the-moment, too! -- my Hot Shot Syringe necklaces! I think I really will post this to Etsy. My mom's boss had a few too many syringes that came in the mail, so he let her take some home, and I didn't know what to use them for, so while using the bathroom today, I had seen my dad's box of insulin syringes, and I thought, hey, those other syringes would make a unique necklace! So I filled them with sparkly red beads. :3 These really are something else. Bahaha. <3 Enjoy and cheers!

While the Shroominals were drying...

I decided to go along and make some new stuff. My mom had been raving about this lavender clay cake that I had made a few weeks ago, saying that she definitely wanted it on a ring. So, while home most of the day before class [I go to night classes this semester], I had put together many cakes, as well as a few mooncakes [my others were failures the other day], and some other fun things. I even made a ghetto-ly cute ginger man, but he's not seen here. The robins' eggs in the nests will become barrettes soon. <3

I'm quite excited to see how the Shroominals will come out once they're done drying. I'll be sure to post soon! :]

Now shipping to...

JAPAN!

That's right! Although it will cost just a little more [just $5!], I do want to expand my outreach towards everyone else. I'm trying Japan because I do ship there often, so I'm confident in shipping overseas that direction. I hope this will be beneficial to the shop! :]

[Sorry it's sideways! This is a newly-designed card for my barrettes! Yay!]

Some Price Adjustments

I strongly believe that accessorizing should be affordable fun, and I always try to sell my work at the lowest possible cost. However, shipping and shipping supplies are really bumming out my wallet, and I had to raise a few prices just a tiny bit. I hope no one is too angry. :/ I've still seen many items like mine that are easily made with molds, cost twice as much, and have $2+ in shipping... So in all seriousness, thanks, everyone, for all your support! :D

New Earrings for Fall!

I started creating new earrings for fall a few weeks ago, and I'm surprised that the pumpkin pie earrings have already started to sell!

I've also done acorns and pumpkins, as well as a collection of roses to keep up with my retro and lolita theme. As I was creating these, I had been wanting to start a unique line of earrings and matching necklaces -- Shroominals. This line would include animal-like mushrooms that are just so darned cute! It's in progress, but the little Shroominals are almost done.

Dia de los Muertos jewelry is also in progress, as you can tell! I hope to get all of this done before school work starts to pile up! :P

Lolita Chiquita Shop's Epic Journey

I finally decided to create a legitimate blog about the development of Lolita Chiquita Shop. I had a tumblr, but it went unused [for the shop anyway, not personally], and I did not want to create a xanga! So here I am, hopefully about to post flashbacks, upcoming designs, and quite possibly SUCCESS! :]
